Karl now reads more than 400 synth maps
The synth library opens with maps from the open MIDI CC database, and you can play each one from this site.
Karl now knows the CC map of more than 400 synths, from 130 makers. Open the synth library, pick one, and its parameters appear on the panel, grouped by section.
The maps come from the open MIDI CC database kept by Pencil Research and its contributors, under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Our site reads the list once a day, so a synth added there shows up here the next morning.
Each map we fix goes back to the shared database, so every controller benefits, ours included.
Play your synth from this website
Each synth page has a Karl you can play with the mouse, a finger or the arrow keys. In Chrome, Edge or Opera, the button under the panel sends the moves to your real synth over USB. It is a fair way to check a map before you buy anything.
